Rouleaux formation of the red cells which settle in long chains or stacks when the blood is spread on a glass slide. There are a few doublets and triplets in this field of proper thickness for evaluation. The background shows a faint blue color due to precipitated plasma proteins which have been stained. One small mature lymphocyte and one monocyte are in the field. Multiple myeloma. Blood - 50X
