Megathrombocyte, Normal capillary blood smear

One giant platelet (Megathrombocyte) of elongated shape on a capillary blood smear. If this were EDTA anticoagulated blood, this megathrombocyte would be round in shape as would the 3 small platelets. Normal capillary blood smear - 100X
