Two lymphocytes, 1 monocyte, 3 mature neutrophils. The Neutrophils are surrounded by platelets but the other cells are not affected. There are only a few isolated platelets. This rare phenomenon occurs only in EDTA anticoagulated blood of some individuals who have no clinically associated disorder. The resemblance to a satellite is the origin of the term Platelet Satellitism. EDTA blood - 50X
