Pelgeroid neutrophil, blasts, M-7 leukemia

Top left frame: Acquired Pelger Huet (Pelgeroid) type of neutrophil with only two nuclear lobes. Cytoplasm contains multiple azurophilic granules and vacuoles. Lower left frame: Abnormal Late Neutrophil with a very high nuclear/cytoplasmic ratio, very dense nuclear chromatin and an irregularly outlined nucleus. Right frame: 2 Blasts, 1 abnormal late neutrophil with a high nuclear/cytoplasmic ratio, and very dense nuclear chromatin in a non-segmented nucleus. The cytoplasm shows heavy localized granulation. Acute Megakaryocytic Leukemia (M-7) in relapse. Blood - 100X
